Limestone Networks, the Dallas-based, on-demand dedicated server provider, is pleased to report on company progress and innovation.
Dallas, Texas. July 26, 2013.
Limestone Networks, the Dallas-based, on-demand dedicated server provider, is thrilled to report that recent company developments are accelerating growth on several fronts. In May, Limestone Networks and Silicon Valley Bank, the California bank subsidiary and commercial banking operation of SVB Financial Group, agreed on terms that has provided Limestone Networks with a generous infusion of cash. This financing has produced marked improvements to inventory counts, assisted with infrastructure upgrades and helped fund a number of other endeavors.
Regarding infrastructure, Limestone Networks has completed a superior cloud platform. This platform uses KVM virtualization, 100% SSD storage and all Dual Intel Xeon E5-2640 hypervisors. Rather uniquely, the storage solution for LSN Cloud is fully distributed and is not subject to the availability of any one SAN device. “Everything in our cloud has been built around superior performance and redundancy,” explained Ryan Gelobter, IT Manager for Limestone Networks. “We have been working hard and I'm excited that our clients get to experience its performance and full-feature set.” The beta version of LSN Cloud is currently in testing, with the release of the full production version expected in Q4, 2013.
Another important development for Limestone Networks is their planned soon-release of enterprise DDoS mitigation. LSN clients and resellers have made their voices heard regarding access to advanced means of protecting their dedicated servers from malicious attacks and Limestone Networks has listened. The system that LSN is implementing offers three levels of attack filtering, catching everything from large to small attacks. With respect to this solution, Kris Anderson, Director for Limestone Networks commented, “We want only success for our clients. Having the ability to seamlessly add enterprise-grade DDoS mitigation to their services with us will allow them to grow without worrying about attacks.”
